TopDeck.hk is a free peer-to-peer platform for trading Magic: The Gathering cards in Hong Kong. We connect buyers and sellers for local meetups - no fees, no middleman.

Yes! Listing cards is 100% free, and we don't take any commission on trades. We believe the HK MTG community deserves a free way to trade locally.

Click "Join Free" and sign up with your email, Google, or Discord account. You'll need to create a username and optionally add your contact details (WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.).

No! You can browse all listings without an account. You only need to sign up to list cards or contact sellers.

Click "List Card" in the navigation. Search for your card, select the correct edition, choose if it's foil, set your price in HKD, and add any notes about condition. That's it!

Yes! Use the Bulk Import feature to upload a CSV file or paste a list of cards. We support various formats including set codes like [2XM] or (MH2) for specific editions.

We show the current TCGPlayer USD price as a reference. Most HK traders multiply the USD price by 6-7 for HKD. You can set any price you want - the market will decide if it's fair!

You can mark it as sold or delete the listing from your dashboard. We recommend completing the trade before removing it, and leaving feedback for the buyer.

Yes! You can upload photos when creating a listing. This is especially helpful for showing the actual condition of your cards to potential buyers.

When you find a card you want, click "Reveal Contact Info" to see the seller's contact details, or click "I'm Interested" to notify them. Then you arrange a meetup directly to complete the trade.

Always meet in public places! We recommend MTR stations (busy areas near ticket gates), shopping mall food courts, or local card shops like Icarus Games or League. Never meet in private locations.

Cash is most common for in-person trades. Some traders also accept PayMe, FPS, or Octopus. Agree on payment method before meeting up.

No, we do not process payments or hold escrow. All trades happen directly between users. This is why meeting in person to verify cards is important!

Absolutely! You can list cards you WANT as well as cards you HAVE. Many users are open to trades - just mention it in your listing notes or when contacting them.

Check the user's feedback score before trading. Meet in public places. Always inspect cards before paying. If a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is. Trust your instincts!

Use the light test (real cards show light through), check the rosette pattern with magnification, and compare to known authentic cards. For expensive cards, consider meeting at a card shop for verification.

Leave honest feedback to warn others. Report the user using the Report button on their profile or listing. For serious issues like theft or fraud, contact Hong Kong Police. We're a platform, not a mediator, but we will ban bad actors.

Your email is never shown publicly. You control which contact methods to share. We don't sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

After a trade, both parties can leave positive or negative feedback with a comment. Your feedback score shows how many positive vs negative reviews you have.

No, feedback cannot be edited or removed. This keeps the system honest. If you believe feedback was unfair or fraudulent, contact us to investigate.

Everyone starts with zero feedback! For new users, consider starting with smaller trades. Meet in very public places and take extra care verifying cards.

Leave feedback after completing a trade. Be fair and honest - one small issue shouldn't result in negative feedback. Focus on the overall experience.

Click your username in the top right, then "Profile". You can update your location, contact methods, and bio from there.

Currently, usernames cannot be changed after account creation. Choose wisely when signing up!

Yes. Contact us at hello@topdeck.hk and we'll delete your account and associated data within 30 days, as required by Hong Kong's PDPO.

Click "Login", then "Forgot password?" and enter your email. We'll send a reset link. If you signed up with Google or Discord, use those to log in instead.

While TopDeck.hk is primarily for Magic: The Gathering, we support other TCGs like Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and One Piece. Just note the game in your listing.

Yes! You can list sealed boosters, boxes, precons, and other sealed products. Just be clear about what you're selling in the title and description.

You may list proxies or custom alterations ONLY if clearly labeled as such in the title AND description. Never misrepresent a proxy as authentic - this will result in a permanent ban.
